Mayor’s 816 Champion of Kansas City

Dulcinea Herrera was honored by Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas as an 816 Champion 2026, a recognition personally selected by the Mayor in celebration of 816 Day. The award honors Kansas Citians who exemplify the spirit and greatness of the city through their leadership, impact, and commitment to community. Dulcinea was recognized for her work through Café Corazón and her continued dedication to culture, entrepreneurship, and uplifting the Kansas City community.
